GARG STEEL PRODUCTS is a small-scale engineering unit in BHIWANI (HARYANA) engaged in the manufacturing of cutting tools, gauges, dies and various engineering components. Since its inception in 1979 the company has successfully been serving to many reputed industries for their growing needs of engineering items. The company is particularly specialised in the manufacturing of H.S.S. cutters, chasers, reamers, end mills, segmental saws etc.

CTC Cutters/Chasers

GSP Brand cutters and chasers are manufactured from imported AISIM15 High Speed Steel.

Cutters are available in both HR & LH. Chasers are available in both 'U' and 'V' forms with demanded TPI's and angles.

Optimum combination of microstructure, grain size and hardness are ensured in heat--treatment for durable performance.

On specific demand, cutter/chasers are also made from AISI M-2 / M-35 / M-42 and other HSS grades of customer's choice.

Hardness of -Grade cutters / chasers is 65/67 HRC for M -15 and others grades of super-high speed steel;

64/66 HRC for M-2 and other grades of conventional high speed steel.

'GSP' Brand cutters & chasers are manufactured also in TIN coating. for long GRAVITY of Tools life.

	Design
	Most of the tools and components manufactured here are either 'Standard' or against customar's drawings.In some cases, however, design aspect is drawn on the discussion table to ansure safer heat treatment of complicated tools and components.


	Raw Materials
	All tools and components are manufactured from premier quality and correct grades of raw materials.Materials used are mostly of imported origin or from our country's main steel plants.After procurement, meterials are tested both chemically and metallurgically.GSP has in-house Ultrasonic crack detector as well as magnetic particle tester.These are used for ascertaining internal soundness as well as surface and sub-surface flaws of all raw materials.Testings as regards grain size, depth of decarburisation, carbide distribution etc are carried out by our our mettallurgist as and when required.


	Machining
	This covers both pre-heat treatment and post-heat treatment metal removal.Almost all Ptr.-HT machining are done in domestic machines.Post..Ht machining is mainly grinding.STEEL requirer considerable attention to ensure that grinding damage is prevented through proper selection of wheels, their periodic dressing and adequate flow of coolant in the process.


	Heat Treatment
	Apart from different controlled electric and salt bath furnaces covering temperature ranges 105°c-1350°c, this heat treatment unit has three unique facilities - Polymer Quenching, Cryogenic cold treatment and Induction Hardening.

Segmental Saw /Hot Saw

GSP Brand segments are manufactured form

AMSIM-2 or AISIM-35 high speed steel plates as per customer's requirements.

Hardness is maintained at 62-64 HRC at the cutting space 35-40 HRCS at the riveting zone

Saw plates (Discs) are manufactured from spring steel plates, heat treated to desired degree of toughness and tensile strength.

All metrological, mechanical and metallurgical parameters are controlled as per specifications for durable performance.
